Wilson Manuel Farias Rodriguez was born in Colombia in the city of Cartagena. His talent as a musician was evident at an early age when at the age of 10 he started performing Colombian folk music “Vallenato” and playing the percussion instrument called the “caja”. At the age of 19, Wilson started performing with big name Columbia bands such as “Alfonso y su octava potencia” and “El Nene y Sus Traviesos”. After setting off for Asia in 2004 and performing in Thailand and Malaysia, Wilson settled in Shanghai where he has performing with the JZ Latin Band among other projects.
