Born in Sevilla in the south of Spain into a Gitano (gypsy) family, his early life was immersed in the music and culture of traditional Flamenco. Inspired by his grandfather, guitarist Manolo Carmona, and his father Manuel Carmona, he started playing the guitar at the age of 8 and after years of hard study, emerged into the Flamenco scene.

Audiences in Spain, Italy, France, United States, Canada and Asia have enjoyed Abraham Carmona’s live performances including shows with artists Jose Angel Carmona, Diego Vargas, Agujetas and Gaspar de Utrera.

As a teacher, Abraham Carmona has pioneered the instruction of Flamenco Compas in China and has become a flamenco guitar guru.
