A creative Christmas adventure for 3 to 4.5 and 4.5 to 6 year olds.

Activities will be based around the famous song, “Rudolf the red nosed Reindeer”, and will include. The classes for the different age groups will run concurrently.

u      Musical storytelling: using live and recorded music to stimulate the imagination to invoke themes, and facilitate physical and trait characterization. The vocabulary of the song will also be learned and the “story” enacted in class and in the final performance. Older children will explore other Christmas songs.

u      Creative dance and movement encouraging children to use their imagination and express themselves freely for physical characterization and interpretation of music.  

u      Art and craft sessions where accessories such as reindeer horns, Rudolf noses, and Santa sleighs will be designed and constructed by the attendees as well as seasonal decorations for children to take home.

At the end of the adventure on December 18^th and December 23^rd at 12.15pm a mini performance will be held for the enjoyment of family and friends.

The performance will involve uniquely arranged music (recorded) by jazz artists. Attendees will be able to take a copy of the CD home too.
