Codarts Big Band Conducted by Ilja Reijngoud

The Codarts Big Band are in town, conducted by Thelonius Monk award winner and internationally renowned jazz trombonist, Ilja Reijngoud.

The Codarts Big Band, consisting of jazz students from the Rotterdam Conservatory, has an outstanding reputation when it comes to live performances. The Codarts Big Band plays a varied repertoire: from modern and Cuban and Latin jazz to Brazilian and Flamenco jazz. The band often perform at high profile international events including the North Sea Jazz Festival

After the performance Ilja Reijngoud and his students will be on hand to field questions about their experiences and also about how to become a student at one of Europe’s most prestigious music conservatories.
