Introducing the JZ Future Stars summer musical theater production "Annie" for children aged 5 to 7 and 8 to 12

DEVELOP THE FUTURE STAR POTENTIAL IN YOUR CHILD THIS SUMMER!

The Future Stars program provides three weeks of musical theater experience which includes one week of fun but intensive foundation learning activities and two weeks of musical theater preparation and production.

The foundation and production sections can be taken up individually or together.

Foundation Week:  July 5th to July 9th

12.5 "class" hours

Focuses on the basic technique and skills of Musical Theater: drama (including dramatic improvisation), music appreciation, music theory, singing (solo and choral), dance & movement, stage craft, arts & crafts (5-7 age group only), scriptwriting (8-12 age group only)

Annie –The production: July 12th to July 23rd

25 "class" hours

During the production phase the future stars will be learning lines, dance moves, learning songs (Maybe, It’s a Hard Knock Life, Tomorrow etc), getting into their characters (Annie, Daddy Oliver Warbucks, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Rooster, Grace Farrell etc) and stagecraft skills.

5-7 year old participants will get creative designing and making props and costume accessories, while the older 8-12 year old thespians will use their imagination to add new lines to the script and think of different ways to develop the plot.

Grand Performance on Saturday July 24th

Ages 5-7

Time: 9.30AM to 12.30PM

Monday to Friday

Ages 8 – 12

Time: 1.30PM to 4.30PM

Monday to Friday

Early Bird discount = 15% if paid by June 15th

Sibling discount = 10%
